What is the process?
- Gather
together favorite photographs of your loved one and get copies
made or send them to me on CD. (I don't want anything to happen
to the originals of these photographs!) If you put them on
CD, make sure the resolution on the photographs is 300dpi
or greater - call if you have questions about what this means.
- We'll
set aside some time talk with you about your loved one so
that I can understand better what they are all about; what
was most important, and why
creating this video is so important to you.
What happens after you get the photos?
- If
I get the photos themselves, the first thing I do is scan
them in to create the digital files. If the photos are sent
in already scanned, I go straight to step two.
- Every
photo goes through a color correction process
where the dust and scratches are cleaned up and the coloring
is adjusted to ensure the best possible image.
- Finally,
the images are combined with your choice of music, then burned
to DVD, and the completed video is mailed back to you.
What
is the turnaround time, can the memorial video be done for a
service that is being held in a few days?
